About Me
I am a member of Wake Forest University’s Theatre and Dance Department Staff as the Wardrobe Supervisor and as a Costume Designer and Assistant Supervisor. I also work as a free-lance Costume Designer and Technician throughout the Southeastern Region of the U.S., based out of North Carolina. I earned my MFA in Costume Design and Technology at the University of Southern Mississippi; I earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts and minors in Studio Art and English from Catawba College. A native from North Carolina, I am interested in travelling for work. I have been sewing and drawing since I could walk and love the work that I do. I wanted to work in fashion when I was younger, making clothes for my dolls and eventually making them for myself. I got involved with costumes when I was cast in my first show in middle school and began making my own costumes for the following shows. By the beginning of high school, I was making costumes for myself and my friends. I have skills in crafts, makeup, wig styling, and shop organization, as well.
This website displays examples of my work in both educational and professional theatre. Professional credits include: Florida Repertory Theatre (Fort Myers, FL), Georgia State University Players (Atlanta, GA), Lee Street Theatre (Salisbury, NC), Sewanee Univeristy of the South (Sewanee, TN), The Cumberland County Playhouse (Crossville, TN), Bigfork Summer Playhouse (Bigfork, MT), Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (Holland, MI), Matthews Playhouse (Charlotte, NC), St. Thomas Players (Salisbury, NC).
